Poison Oak Herbal Formula and Homeopathic Program
A combined approach to the prevention and treatment of poison oak and poison ivy. Poison Oak is an allergic reacton to the oils of the rhus-toxicodendron plant. This reaction can be prevented or significantly reduced in severity by the use of homeopathic treatment before exposure. There are 100 capsules per bottle. The dosage ranges from 3 to 5 capsules three times a day depending on the formula.

Poison Oak reactions are allergic in nature - - they do not occur because the plant oils are toxic in some way, but because your body is having an allergic reaction to these plant oils. This allergic reaction is treatable and our products are designed with this in mind.
The Poison Oak herbal pills and homeopathic Poison Oak combination are most effective in treating a current active case of poison oak. Take 5 pills, 3 x day of poison Oak herbal formula, along with 3 pills, 4 x day of the Homeopathic Poison Oak combination. They will reduce symptoms and shorten the course of the reaction. Used daily in low doses (3 pills, 2 times a day), the herbal formula will also help to prevent future reactions.
The Homeopathic pills (Rhus-tox 10M) work only to prevent or signficantly reduce the severity of future reactions and SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN WHEN A CURRENT POISON OAK ERUPTION IS OCCURING. It is best to use the Oz Poison Oak herbs and Homeopathic combination to end a current reaction and then take the Rhus-tox to prevent future problems.
The Rhus-tox must be taken every three or four months for the first year (3 pills per dose). After that the need to take it goes down significantly, but can vary from person to person. It is common to need to take it every six months for the second year and as needed or one time a year after that. After two or three years of usage it is common to only need to take it one time every 5 years to prevent poison oak reactions. Read your own body as to when it starts to show signs of reacting again and only take another dose when you as an individual need it. More is not necessarily better in this case.
After taking the Rhus-tox one may not drink coffee on a regular basis as it will antidote the effects of the treatment. Decaf coffee is fine, as is black tea, caffeine in sodas, etc. An occasional cup of coffee (once a week) is probably not a problem. Coffee is a very strong herb and has such an effect on the body that it will alter the effectiveness.
